Service Description

Marma Shiroabhyanga is an integrative Ayurvedic treatment combining classical Marma Treatment with the traditional practice of Shiroabhyanga. Each 75 minute appointment begins with short consultation and review of appropriate treatment. Once on the table, gentle Polarity is used to help stabilize prāṇa and prepare the body to receive care. Intentional marma work is then integrated with the application of individualized Ayurvedic oil to the head, face, ears, neck, shoulders, arms, and hands. Every treatment is adapted to the person receiving it. The experience encourages mental quiet, supports the nervous system, and promotes the healthy flow of prāṇa throughout the body. Marma Shiroabhyanga may be especially supportive during periods of stress, mental fatigue, restlessness, or when you are seeking a quiet opportunity to slow down, receive attentive care, and reconnect with yourself. 75 minutes Formerly offered as Ayurvedic Head Massage, this treatment has been renamed to better reflect its integrative approach combining Classical Marma Treatment and Shiroabhyanga (Head Massage).
