Clinic Policies

These policies help maintain clarity, professionalism, and a calm therapeutic environment for all clients.

Sahaja Wellness values your time and is committed to offering attentive, uninterrupted care. Appointment times are reserved specifically for you. This policy helps ensure fairness and availability for all clients.

Appointment Changes

Clients are kindly asked to provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Notice can be given by email or through the online booking system, where applicable.

Late Cancellations

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a late cancellation fee.

This policy is in place because short-notice cancellations make it difficult to offer the appointment time to another client.

Missed Appointments (No-Shows)

Appointments that are missed without notice may be charged in full.

Repeated missed appointments may require prepayment for future bookings.

Emergencies and Illness

Sahaja Wellness understands that unforeseen circumstances, such as sudden illness or emergencies, can occur. These situations are handled with care and discretion. Please communicate as soon as possible if an emergency arises.

Practitioner Cancellations

In the rare event that Sahaja Wellness needs to cancel or reschedule an appointment, you will be notified as soon as possible and offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund if applicable.

Payment and Receipts

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged in writing. Payments can be made via etransfer to care@sahajawellness.ca or in cash at time of appointment.

Receipts are issued for services paid, upon request.

Any package, series, or promotional terms will be explained separately where applicable.

Illness, Safety and Comfort

Please advise Sahaja Wellness before your appointment if you have a fever, contagious illness, unexplained rash, recent injury, or any significant change in health status.

Services may be modified, postponed, or declined where appropriate safety, practitioner scope, or client well-being.

Please communicate any discomfort, temperature concerns, draping concerns, pressure preferences, or sensitivities during the season.

Communication and Boundaries

Administrative communication is welcome through approved contact methods; response times may vary.

Electronic communication should not be used for urgent or emergency matters.

Respectful conduct is expected in all interactions.

A Note on Respectful Use of Time

This policy is not intended to be punitive. It exists to support the sustainability of the practice and to honour the time and energy required to prepare for each session.

Thank you for your understanding and consideration.
